Existing Clients as at May 2007 who are currently on the bronze managed option with no additional add-ons and who would use this to replace the managed aspect of their hosting (convert from managed to self-managed), please contact us. Your cost is R220 installation and R120 per month, including hosting.
For most of our clients, this means no difference in their monthly payment at all.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
I am not hosting my site with Web Inn. How much will the license cost me?
Unfortunately this software is currently only available for domains hosted by us.
Do you intend making this available to the public in the future?
We're not sure, but if we do decide to, the sign up and licensing cost would be substantially higher than what we charge our clients.
Can I get the source code?
Unfortunately not.
Can I rebrand or customise the look of the editor?
Unfortunately as an end user you can't. The software is encrypted to prevent this.
However, for our hosting resellers we do remove all the links to Web Inn and you can rename the programme to a name of your choice. The powered by and copyright notices will however remain.
Does the software have limitations?
Because any software programme can only aim at being intuitive rather than intelligent, yes it does. These are:
Can not be used on a dynamic website, like php or asp (content is normally not on-page)
Can not be used on a flash website (only flash can edit flash)
Can not be used on a Microsoft Publisher site (only publisher can edit publisher)
Can I create new pages with this software?
No you can't. This is purely a page editor and not page creation software.
The software does however work extremely well in conjunction with our account control panel for sites that have fairly straight-forward, standard layouts. Using your control panel you can create and configure a new page in minutes, then edit it accordingly in the editor. You will not, however, be able to add these pages to your main menu in all instances (depends on how your menu was created).
We provide a tutorial to assist you with this.
My site has a lot of fancy stuff. Will the editor work on it?
It really depends on two things:
Do you want to be changing the fancy stuff as well as the contents?
What exactly is the fancy stuff?
The editor works well for any straight text content; inserting, deleting or replacing images (including animated images or rotating banners); inserting, deleting or replacing links and inserting, deleting or replacing flash components.
If you are unsure about whether the editor will do what you need it to on your site, send us an email with a link to your existing site and the details of where you'd like to use the editor and we'll assess it for you at no cost and with no obligation.
How do I sign up?
Existing hosting clients please contact us via email to manually process the order for you.
New clients, please use our online facility to either register a new domain name, transfer an existing website and/or sign up for professional hosting. When completing the order form simply select the Self-Edit hosting option, which will automatically add this license to your order.
How long does installation take?
We will get the software set up as fast as possible, but timing is determined to a large extent by the number of requests that we receive and the complexity of your website. As a rule of thumb, no less than 24 hours and no longer than 5 working days.
